Jane, the most amazing thing happened. Your son just time-traveled from 20 years in the future, and asked me to give you a message. He says, "Thanks, Mom, for caring about something that was so important to me. I was thankful at the time, but even more so now."
I just get all giddy when I see a parent who encourages his/her child's musical endeavors. Many of us weren't so lucky!
