My Christmas Eve gig involves lots of playing inside while seated. But, there will be some playing outside the church as worshipers arrive. My tuba (MW 2145) weighs a ton and does not have brackets for straps. Have any of you been faced with this problem? I'm a strong man, but I don't relish holding that horn up while we run through ten carols. Any ideas?
