Hi. I play on a Steven Mead SM3 mouthpiece with my Besson Prestige. I had to order a silver plated one and someone told me when I ordered it that I should try a gold one that it would make my sound darker. What's everyone's opinions on silver and gold? What's good about both and bad about both? How do they affect your playing?
