That is one reason why we play a 20J and a 24J in our band, and our director wouldn't have it any other way. We also play outside during the summer where bell up horns are practically useless. Why should we always be at the mercy of the acoustics of our venue? Recording bells and sousas of the world unite to stop the tyranny of tin eared conductors!
