What are the playing characteristics of this style Conn tuba. I think there is one on ebay as well right now although the tuning slide on it is in the leadpipe. I've never had a chance to play one of these and was considering purchasing a BBb in the near future to use in community band. I've played 20J's and also the smaller/newer Conn 5J(?). How does this compare assuming someone remembers playing one of these.
