Let's face it, the ads on ebay demonstrate that most folks hardly know what a "tuba" is, much less what its practitioner would be called.
But who cares? The fun of this topic is that it doesn't really matter, so we can debate for the fun of debate without it affecting anything that's really important. The fun is also watching people who sometimes take things too seriously get all serious about it, or when they get all serious about the fact that others take it too seriously. Sometimes the serious-sounding arguments are put forth to draw out those who need a shot of humor. Smiley faces and other emoticons spoil the joke. There is an abundance of fine satire in this thread, for anyone willing to see it.
