I think tubas have a universal appeal to kids. After our last concert, a young lad was watching with great interest as I put it away.
"Have you ever seen a tuba before?" "No."
"Would you like to try it?" "Yeah!"
I don't know which was more satisfying, playing the concert or watching his eyes light up as it responds to him. "Tuba Magic" infects yet another unsuspecting victim.
