Locally, shop rates are about $50 per hour. So if that rate obtains in Erica's neck of the woods, she's going to be putting in a bunch of money into a Chinese tuba just to keep her key levers shiny. Why not just polish them with Brasso and stick some Mac-Tac on them? The horn will probably need servicing soon enough, anyway and the Mac-Tac will last for years.
