I have to agree with Barry regarding the Barenboim/CSO 4th and the Guilini/CSO 9th. Luckily I have the 9th on vinyl, but would love to have a copy of the CD. I am also going to pick up the Solti/CSO complete recordings available as an import on Amazon.com. Should be pretty interesting. BTW, I really like the Solti/CSO 8th recording (Gene sounds fantastic), but my all time favorite is a cassete tape from a radio broadcast made in the early 80s with Tennstadt and the CSO. Unfortunately, he didn't record any Bruckner with the CSO (that I am aware of), but that was an amazing concert.
