You helped me greatly on the valveset for my old Holton Eb. I haven't done anything yet but it will come in handy next year maybe.
Yeh, I knew Conn made the Pan American sousaphone. All of the other used bits I have come across are too large but I know nothing about different brands being slightly larger or smaller than others. I thought there might be some sort of modern standard that eliminated most of the old Eb horn. The receiver in my goose neck indeed has an inside diameter of .520" at the opening. I may end up making up the bits I need myself. The horn is a little sharp but not too bad. However, not having the extensions makes the horn quite uncomfortable to play. I would just put on a larger receiver and use modern bits but I like the old Apollo mouthpiece that I use in the upright Holton.
