If this horn is the one I think it is. It is being sold by a guy named Jason S. that picked it up in a shop in Tampa, Fl. He is a good player and I heard through some other people that it is a good playing horn and that it is a fairly large tuba. I am sure it is worth the $3K reserve. As far as adding a fifth valve, I would personally have to have it in my own hands first and see how the bore expansion is after the cluster and were the best place to put it would be in terms of both distance after the cluster and how well the linkage would work to get to it. Or, I would be sure to try it out fully and even see if it merits putting a valve on it anyway's. If a BBb player can play with only four valves, why not us CC players!
