Orchestra management, supported by the recording industry, to destroy the Union and, thus,
the bargaining power of all of us. Keep the faith. After a year or more, we won the
Atlanta Ballet strike and are now back playing with a decent contract. The key to forcing the hand of the ballet management was the refusal by the Czech musicians, their
government and the International Union to allow Czech players to scab in Atlanta. Solidarity, forever, for the Union makes us free.
