I have to agree with what he says. I use a King 2350 at my school that's probably about 20 years old but looks in great condition and plays very very very well. The Conn 20K is also a great sousaphone. I definitely recommend either of those. More preference to the 20K just because it's a wee-bit better, but the King is good too. Oh and Tom, the horns that we use are the satin silver with shiny silver bell they look good and play great...if only I could get those freshmen to just play out. *sigh*
