Tuba shops

I am looking for a nice tuba of some kind, but really don't know what to focus in on as far as brand/key/valves. I think the best thing would be to go to a instrument shop with a large selection and try out different kinds. I live in central Mississippi. What would be the best place relative to my location to look? I've heard a lot about The Tuba Exchange, WW&BW, etc... Are there any places any closer? Thanks.
