Sorry, but that horn is a 188. The "body" is shorter and fatter than a 186 and the tuning slide has the 90 degree angle coming out of the 4th valve. The seller seems to be reasonably smart about tubas, and I believe that he knows what he has, and when he says it's 188, I believe that its a 188. The seller is not the kind of person selling the "brand new silver euphonium tuba with case" over in India.
