That's a 186. Not only that, it's an S186.
The text description has glaring errors.
Those aren't Direct Valve Stroke linkages pictured.
It does NOT have nickel silver trim. (the valve slides
are obviously brass). the "professional" 186 (and all 188s
to my knowledge) has engraved ferrules and upper and lower
valve caps. The pictured instrument has neither.
If you still don't buy that it's a 186, go to www.miraphone.de,
find both the 186 and 188 in the catalogue, download each
of the photos, then rotate them 180 degrees with a
paint program or photoshop or whatever.
Compare those to the one on that auction site.
you'll then agree that it's a 186.
