I have stockpiled a set of Bach 24AW's for my sixth grade beginning band. I have found that they are the easiest mouthpiece for beginners to start on. During the second semester of the year I have the students buy their own PT 64. I like the cleaner articulation that the PT64 provides. Most students buy something bigger when they get to high school. I hope this helps.
