This concert will include a performance of "Black Dog" which was written by Scott McAlister. Ted Gurch, assistant principal clarinet of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Emory faculty artist affiliate, will perform with the ensemble.

For those of you who may not know, Emory's new $35 million Schwartz Peforming Arts Center features a state-of-the-art concert hall that only seats 855 (IIRC). It is a marvelous addition to the list of Atlanta-area venues and is worth a visit on its own merits.
