I seem to recall an article in the TUBA Journal listing the instruments being played for the Dallas Symphony audition a few years back. I remember there being a British auditionee who played the whole audition on an Eb.

Thanks for the information about George Wall. Bevan in his first edition included two pictures of him, including one is a student playing what appeared to be a Barlow F tuba, and the one I mentioned of him played an Alex kaiser. He may predate the general move towards the Eb that started in the 60's when the orchestral F's were no longer available, or at least do so in spirit.

The picture of Steven Wick seemed also to show him holding an HB-2P.
