Actually, I think it's just the opposite. The Miraphone plays low with a good mix of overtones. I think low sounds require that mix to have power in their sound. Listen to a raw 26-Hz sine wave (a pedal BBb). It's almost inaudible, even when played at a high enough listening level to bottom out your speakers. This is a raw fundemental pedal BBb, and it is sort of a soft hum, more felt than heard. If you want power, you have to line up a dozen or so well-tuned overtones at 26-Hz intervals.
