Great subject! I recently played with the Blue Lake International Adult Band,june 2000 we toured France, Germany, Denmark, Belguim. After each time we played, I was over welmed by my own emotions. I had to hold back the tears many times. Gooose bumps and all. I tell my students I believe " Music Is Emotions" if the movie Jaws did not have music, the scene with the shark would would not have much efect on the veiwer. So when I play, I play my heart out. In the prosscess it stirs my emotions some how. I am no fammus tuba player, but I have 100% desiere to play. It is a great feeling when the music moves us to what tuba players do best!!!! MUSIC STARTS FROM THE BOTTOM UP!!!!
