As a followup to the question about the silver plate on the "Monica" 6/4 York copy, isn'y the leadpipe also different? The plating process is negligible to the effect on the horn, but I thought the leadpipe on both of the Yorks were "straight" into the cluster off of the bell bracing, the leadpipe on the yamaha seems to travel just off horizontal off the bell bracing then takes a slight 22-40 degree bend towards the cluster. I know this may be nit-picking, but I feel that this would be more of a cosmetic and acoustic difference than bright vs. satin silver plate. Does anyone else notice this difference?
