Are you referring to the the DEG cases? The store I am dealing with now said they could order a wood case from Alied for $360 which isn't too bad. I used a wood case in high school for a couple years with the school-owned tubas and I never had any problem with corners cracking, only handles breaking. I need one with about and 18-inch bell; not sure about length, width, etc.
