To be honest, I can't see myself parting with this one. I am also a Spike Jones fan, but my tuba is not the one that was used in his band,(that one is described in this same thread). I have some old radio transcriptions of Spike and the City Slickers and the tuba-playing is phenomenal. Martin tubas were used in a lot of bands from the '30s and '40s including the Kay Kyser, Horace Heidt, and Guy Lombardo bands. I have a horn that Mr. Fred Exner used in the Lombardo band, (with the standard 24" bell).
