If you REALLY need something to do during the R&L, go to your local university band library, get the tuba part out of the Mark Hindsley arrangement, and play along with your main tuning slide pulled all the way out and four sousaphone bits added on to your mouthpiece...
...That should keep you busy, if you feel the need to be.
