After reading Patti's good luck in paying just $360 for a 4-valve York for her son at a flea market and Jeff Hicks being given a 5-valve Conn 5J, I started wondering what other bargains people on this list have gotten. I have a friend who paid $65 for a beautiful satin-silver finish double-bell euphonium (with gold wash in the bell) he found at a pawn shop. I've never been so lucky.
What bargain instruments have you gotten?
