The Willson literature that I got from Ed indicates that the Willson BBb Marzans had a bore of 17.04 mm (0.670") and the CC's had a bore of 16.04 mm (0.631") and a 17" bell, which makes them among the smallest bore CC's that I've ever heard of.

I can recall only the Willson Caravelle-style tubas from this same time, which were pretty small. When did Willson get into the big-tuba (e.g. 3100 style) business?
