Hello,
So I saw the movie "The Last Waltz" the other day. A movie, directed by Martin Scorcese, that decpicts the farewell concert of The Band, Dylans origional backup ensemble. Anyhow in the horn section is none other than Howard Johnson, playing both tuba and bari-sax. Tom Malone was the bone player. My question is, did he tour with The Band or was he there for the concert.
For those who never saw the film, it is a great piece of rock history, tons of great names crossed the stage that night.
