Not only was Howard an ensemble member of "The Last Waltz," he also wrote most of the arrangements for this tour and did the same other times and places for the group.

Howard's work with The Band should be well known, goes back to the old days when they were all Woodstock residents.

He's also done other film work, including "Eddie and the Cruisers" and he's been in a few documentaries, two that come to mind off the top of my head are "Triumph of the Underdog: Charles Mingus" and that "Miles Davis at Montreaux" thing Sony put out a few years back.

He lives in New York, btw, for those of you that are geographically challenged.

The rest of you should grow up and stop sniggering.
