Two to take notice of in high school: 1. Hiram Diaz from Miami. Incredible talent for a high school student. 2. Chase Garner from Birmingham, AL. Another amazing high school talent on the tuba. As for college level musicians, some already mentioned, such as Brandon Jones and Will Hess on euphonium. Would also like to mention Scott Stone from Georgia, a finalist for the Marine band as a freshman. On tuba, have to go with Aubrey, he was kicking ass when I last heard him as a freshman in high school, he must be doing great things by now. Also Jason Koi from UGA, wonderful musicianship and a great solo player.
