One of my new 6th grade tuba students the other day during class found some time to invent a great way to produce those fun pedal tones on his tuba. By just pulling his shirt over the mouth peice and blowing into his tuba. I have not tried this "at home" for myself yet to see if a true in tune pitch can be produced but just leave it up the kids to have a moment to expierment on their horn for the class and recieve a good laugh. I only wish I would have thought of this while the director was working with another section in the band just to get some attention. HEHEHHEEHHEHe Just me ROB
