I have decided that I want to look for another tuba, but what? I have been thinking the yamaha YFB882, but I am not sure. I currently have a St. Pete and I cannot get a light enough sound at times, expecially soloing. Most of my playing has been in smaller ensembles and soloing as of late. but my teacher(trombone player) thinks I shoud get a CC tuba. Do you think I would be well off with a St pete and smaller horn, or have A st pete and a CC?
