Ok. Mine can't match your's, but here's two.
1. I showed up for a gig in Memphis at a country club for a wedding reception. I brought an electic upright bass. 15 minuted into the gig, the power goes, and never recovers for the evening. Usually I have a real upright and a tuba, but I was in a hurry to get there, and didn't bring them. The only saving grace in this situation was that the gig was at night, so the rest of the band couldn't see their parts either. Did get paid, so there was two saving graces.
2. I played a big band concert last April that featured Chris Vadala. I also passed my first kidney stone during the weekend. I started passing the stone on Friday night, and ended about 30 minutes before the concert started. I had to sit through a two hour rehearsal on Saturday afternoon with the bag band. Didn't get alot done having to go to the restroom every 10 minutes and being in pain in any position.
