Bright silver cleans more easily than satin or matte silver. I have a new King 2341 in satin (it was a nostalgia thing), and the finish is much coarser than the older style satin finishes. The pits and pores in the finish seem to hold onto the polish residue. Even after I polish it and wipe it again several times, I still will get black hands and clothes for the next couple of playing sessions. Does anyone have any suggestions (other than trading the horn or refinishing it)?
