One will LOOSE and the other will win. I see this entire thread as some people's justification for LOOSing auditions. You did not LOOSE the audition because your incredible sound and flawless technique was incompatible with the orchestras sound concepts. You lost because you were not the best player that day. It is really very simple.
BTW, if people start correcting people's spelling and grammar on here I WILL go ballistic. That kind of crap is absolute BS and serves no function in discussions of music!!!
