I won't re-hash the intonation questions that plagued some Holton's more than others, since that can be found in the archives, including Joe's theory on possible factors at play. But yeah, I'm currious as well to know how the intonation changed/differed when the horn was cut.

Somehow I'd never seen the picture of the satin Holton before. I've seen silver plated ones, and now having seen both, I'm certain I prefer the satin silver look. I'm still wondering, as an authenticity question, if Holton ever made a 345 in satin. I know they made other horns in satin durring the same production period.
