Being very happy with being a European out of a continent with an original culture (as contrasted to the North American continent, which has only peaked in conglomerating its European and African roots, keeping its native American culture unfairly below the horizon), I still must admit, that when it comes to sousas, then the standard US valve tubing wrap is by dimensions far above anything coming out of European brass factories (Glassl might have gotten the true clue from across the pond).

Take a look at Besson sousas. Their valve sets basically are taken right out of their cheaper and very much less than interesting top-pistoned student models.

Take a US model, be it a clone or not.
