For years and years, ALL of my instruments were brass, lacquered in most cases. I stripped the lacquer on my 184-5U CC. I bought a Yamaha 321S euph and really liked the silver better than the brass. Later, I got a Yamaha Eb, also silver. Then I added a Hirsbrunner to the fleet (silver) then a Yamaha F (silver), another smaller Yamaha F (silver) a Yorkbrunner (silver). Suddenly ALL of my tubas are silver. Only my beloved A. Dehmal F is still brass (but hiding from the mad plater!) and my Edwards bass bone. Wha' hoppened? This happen to anyone else? Tony Clements
