I just tooted one at Brasswind and thought it was a very nice horn, but it sounded a little "light" in tone, esp. in the upper register. I would think this one to be an ideal quintet horn, but I wonder if the 2145 or the Miraphone 188 might be a better all-around CC (maybe also the 2155, but I haven't played one of these).

Opinions from the G-50 lovers? How large of an ensemble are you comfortable using yours with?
