Yes, but as I have read you, there was a group ready pretty soon after you had accustomed yourself to the York Master.

Having such one myself I would just say, that any group, at least among the larger ones, that will not welcome a decently played YM must be quite well equipped, when it comes to the tuba section.

I know we are moving out on a tangent now, but it is still tuba relevant: I note, that you have being speaking of a personal teacher during the last few months. Is it to preserve his professional credibility, that you have protected his name from us? That would be a nice trait of yours (please refer to my previous posting).

However I would guess, that he is the pro tubist conducting your community band. Some archive diving would bring up a name. (Just teasing).
