Ok, we've had some great threads going this week, reminiscing about our musical past. Here's one more. What was the defining moment, the performance or performer who changed your life-musically-forever? In other words, when was that moment you just KNEW music was going to be a huge part of your life? Since I asked, I'll open the discussion by confessing my epiphany came while watching "The Lawrence Welk Show", circa 1957. Yup, Lawrence Welk. Florian Zaback was playing violin and I told my parents, "I wanna be like him!" That was the beginning of a lifetime of insatiable love for music and instruments. You?
