Has it occurred to anyone else that
Rock concerts sound like crap when compared to rock recordings, but at the concerts they employ "smoke and mirrors" try to make up for it.
whereas
Symphony concerts sound much better than symphony recordings, even though the recordings often employ "smoke and mirrors."
