I have a question for any compensating Eb players out there. A brandy new silver Besson 983 followed me home from the USABTEC yesterday (Many thanks to all who were involved in making the conference happen. Although I could only make a day it was well worth the drive). I had been considering getting an Eb for certain playing, and this one wouldn't let me leave it.
I have been playing around with it today and was wondering how people suggest tuning it? There are so many slides on this thing, including the little ones on the back of the valve section, that there are a lot of options. Is there a better way to tune it than others?
