The subject line asks what I really want to know. Has anyone had success with ebay or have you been disappointed? I'm a tuba player and am looking for a good beginner baritone for my 10-yr old daughter. I bought her an old King 3-valve horn at the beginning of the school year but I want to return it to the shop and get her something nicer. I've seen Yamaha, Conn and Besson current models as well as some interesting antiques. I came close to picking up a nice looking Besson in the $650 range but was outbid at the last minute. Any recommendations? I'm waiting for her and her trombone-playing older brother to grow up and join me in the Chester County Concert Band!
