One of the locals (Jim Newell) here built a novelty upright CC using the bell section from a Besucher monster and a King valve section and considerable sheet brass work. He mounted a beer tap on the stack connected to a bota bag resting just inside the bell. The whole affair is mounted on a luggage cart. It DOES play; the low C is pretty astounding, but it has more than a few missing notes. Probably the first and only 9/4 tuba I'll ever see...
