I know I said I'd be tabling this for a bit while I caught up on other projects, but, heck, Karla is out of town and I'm bored. Also, John Swenson suggested something to me that was straightforward and valuable. Based on his suggestion, I've added a chart on the web page to show the relative loudness of the three tubas, with a correction thrown in for peak volume. And I also added a chart showing the differences between the York Master and the Miraphone and Yamaha instruments. Those differences become crystal clear with that second chart. You'll be surprised at how similar the Yamaha and Miraphone are at these moderate volument levels. I've always said those who liked one tend to like the other.
The new charts are near the bottom so you won't have to read it all again.
