I'm completely ignorant of how the brass band circuit works, but you've really piqued my curiosity.. could someone please explain to me(either here, or through email) how exactly this competition thing works? Is it like a DCI type thing? Is there money involved? Are the individual musicians paid for the time they put into it? Thanks.
