Your comment was a good synopsis of why I use the jupiter 582's. Until the new king 2341 came onto the market, I thought that the jupiter was the best match of size, fit, and sound for the high school and non-professional aspiring college player who did not have the money to get some of the more popular options.
I realize that others will stomp on these comments, but i have a need to get a good horn in the hands of students whose schools can not afford the alternatives. I don't see a problem with the 582 for the adult in a community band setting as well.
