This is inspired by the "alternate fingerings" string below.
I'm just wondering how many of you folks out there really work the tuning slides of your horn as you play. I don't at all, but I'm pretty much of a novice and probably play badly out of tune most of the time. Fortunately I play alone, too (on a small Miraphone F).
It just seems to me that you can do an awful lot of correction with the lips. Isn't that enough?
