The only really significant difference that might affect the sound is the lung capacity of the two different players. The person with the largest lungs (not always the big guy) will have a larger resonating cavity and this should give him a broad sound by his natural tendancy. However, sound is what each individual player developes for him or herself. My sound is distinctly my own. In fact Harvey Phillips had remarked to me that he had never heard a sound like mine and he really liked it. Sound is what you hear in your head and translate to the instrument - you will keep making adjustments until you find the sound that shakes hands with you and then it becomes yours and matures with you over time.

Kafka anyone?

Roger
